How many lights should be on on the router?
  • Depending the model, usually has power light, internet light and as many ports are in use.

Where the router should be connected to?
  • The power cord should be connected to an outlet. Make sure the outlet has power.

  • A cable should be connected in the WLAN port of the Router to the LAN port in the POE Box.

My POE Box won’t turn on, what should i do?

After the troubleshooting if the problem persists you should call support to schedule a service call appointment.

My router won’t turn on, what should i do?
  • After the troubleshooting if the problem persists you should check if the router provided by us is still under warranty, usually 1 year. Check your Billing portal to see when you started using Airmax internet.

  • If the router is still under warranty call support to schedule a service call appointment to change it. This has no cost.

  • If the Router is no longer under warranty you should change it. You can either get one on your own or have us provide you a new one.

  • If you get a Router on your own and need assist on configuring it you may call Airmax Support to schedule a service call appointment, this has a cost.
Can i change my router?

Yes, you can change your Router at any time, that if you want a better one, if that so you must get one on your own and Airmax Support may assist you on configuring it. This has a cost. Or you can configure it on your own.

Do i get charged for changing my router?

In the case that you want to replace it for a better one and need Airmax Support, yes, you will pay for that.

Do i get charged for service call?

If you ever need assistance in your house, the technician must assess if the malfunction is under Airmax Communications responsibility, if that is not the case, the service call will have a cost.

Is there a Data Cap?

Airmax Communications Offers Unlimited Data.

Does weather affect Internet speed?

Small amounts of rain, wind,or snow shouldn't impact the connection to the towers, however in heavy storms you may expirience a drop of speeds of about 2 to 3 MB.
